The 2023 AdoreKnit Exclusive Splash Pad Party Commuter Project Bag!  

This year the AdoreKnit Exclusive collection includes Splash Pad Party Project bags in both commuter and equator sizes, as well as two progress and stitch marker options, and a mint tin or stitch marker container. This season’s design began when Steph created a fabric that features the name of our favorite summer knit-a-long. The colorful flowers and butterfly are a perfect fit for the AdoreKnit summer theme for 2023. The progress marker design evolved from the fabric when we added a basket of yarn and notions behind the flowers from the fabric. Lastly, we thought it would be fun to include a custom marker container in the collection. These containers come with mints but are ready to carry stitch markers if you prefer. 

The Commuter Project Bag is pefect to carry with you through the day.  It is fully lined and interfaced to keep your projects and needles safely inside your bag and it helps our bags maintain their structure. This bag features a contrast bottom and shoulder straps with an AdoreKnit label inside the bag.  The interior is a contrasting yellow and features a large side pocket.

The peach version has a yellow interior pocket.  The back of the bag is peach swirls.
The magenta version has an aqua interior pocket.  The front and back of the bag are the same.

Commuter Tote Bag is our largest sized bag, made to a minimum of 12” high, 16” wide at the top, with a rectangular bottom of 12” by 4”. This bag is an open-mouthed bag, it does not have a zipper.  Sturdy straps allow you to carry the bag without losing its shape.  The bag will comfortably fit six or even eight skein projects and is ideal for sweaters, larger shawl projects, and even blankets.  Or throw all your other project bags in this one.

All bags were sewn in our home studio in New Hampshire.

Exterior is: 100% high quality cotton fabric
Interfacing is: light yet supportive
Interior is: 100% cotton fabric

Notions Pouch is made to a minimum of 5” high and 5” wide at the zippered top.  The fabrics match those used in the project bags.  It is an envelope type pouch.  It will comfortably fit darning needle case, measuring tape, stitch marker container and few other essentials.  

Day-To Day Bag is made to a minimum of 8” high, 10” wide at the zippered top, with a rectangular bottom of 6” by 4”. It will fit two skein projects and works great for socks or small shawl projects.

Basket Bag is slightly shorter than our medium sized bag, made to a minimum of 5” high, 8" long by 4" wide. Square bottom and a short strap allow you to carry the bag without losing its shape. The bag will easily fit a two-skein project and works great for a pair of socks, cowl, or hat project.  Drape the bag over either arm for walking and knitting in style.

Equator Bag is our medium sized bag, made to a minimum of 8” high, 12” wide at the zippered top, with a rectangular bottom of 8” by 4”. It will fit three skein projects and works great for shawl, cowl, hats, and mitten projects. This bag features a decorative zipper pull and wrist strap as well as a white embroidered AdoreKnit. The Zipper Pull is removable and could double as a progress keeper in a pinch. 

Big-Foot Bag is made to a minimum of 8” high, 16” wide at the zippered top, with a rectangular bottom of 12” by 4”. Will comfortably fit three skein projects and is ideal for small sweater and larger shawl projects.

Carry All Tote Bag is slightly larger than our medium sized bag, made to a minimum of 8” high, 9" long by 4" wide.  Square bottom and sturdy straps allow you to carry the bag without losing its shape.  The straps and the interior of project bag are a rich solid red fabric.   Exterior of the bag features 6 different size pockets, great for your phone or keys.  It will easily fit a three skein projects and works great for shawl, cowl, hats, and mitten projects.  Or load up several projects and carry them all in this adorable mid-sized tote.

Everest Bag is our largest sized bag, made to a minimum of 13” high, 16” wide at the zippered top, with a rectangular bottom of 12” by 4”. The bag will comfortably fit six or even eight skein projects and is ideal for sweaters, larger shawl projects, and even blankets.

Fabric placement may vary slightly from bag to bag. If you need to wash your bag, please wash in cold water and air dry.
