The Moonthread Fae are quiet woodland folk who gather in a hidden clearing beside a still lake, where moonlight filters through the trees and every evening begins with a single thread.  They believe every skein has a story waiting to be told. No matter how they start, the Moonthread Fae work together until every thread finds its place. 

If you’re very lucky, you may catch a fleeting glimpse of them. But before you can look twice, they laugh, take to the night sky, and vanish beneath the moon, leaving only a little extra magic woven into the yarn they touched.

These lovely Moonthread Fae bags are available in our Equator or our Day-to-Day size. The front and back of the bag are different designs, same location just with and without our fairy friends.  Perfect for knitting and crochet projects alike, this zippered bag is fully lined an interfaced to protect your yarn and tools while keeping its shape. Thoughtfully constructed for everyday use, it is ready for trips from the couch to the yarn shop and everywhere in between. Every bag is sewn in our home studio in New Hampshire.

Meet the Moonthread Fae

🌸 Rosalie (Pink)
Every gathering begins with Rosalie.  She is the spinner, the organizer, and the gentle leader who reminds everyone why they came. With steady hands she spins the very first thread of the evening, believing every beautiful creation starts with a single strand and a friend willing to begin.

🌿 Bramble (Green) 
Bramble is never short of ideas.  She sees patterns in clouds, colorways in wildflowers, and new projects in every patch of moss. Half the designs shared among the Moonthread Fae began as one of Bramble’s dreams beneath the trees.

💜 Thistle (Purple)
If a pattern can be made more intricate, Thistle will find a way. Cables become double cables. Lace gains another repeat. Colorwork somehow needs just one more shade. She insists the challenge is half the fun, and secretly loves watching everyone wonder how she keeps track of it all.

🩵 Wren (Blue)
Dropped stitch?  Twisted cable?  Mystery knot?  No one worries for long when Wren is nearby.  She has an uncanny talent for making problems disappear, often before anyone else realizes there was one. The other Moonthread Fae say she doesn’t just mend yarn. She mends confidence.

🌼 Marigold (Yellow)
Marigold loves knitting.  She simply wishes it loved her back.  She sighs at tangled yarn, mutters at stubborn stitches, and has been known to glare at a pattern as though it personally offended her. Fortunately, her friends know exactly when to step in, and by the end of the evening she’s usually laughing the loudest.

The Moonthread Fae secretly believe that every maker has a little bit of Marigold in them.

🌸 Posie (pink zipper pull)
Posie is forever fluttering off to lend a hand.  Whether a rabbit needs its burrow mended, a bird has lost its nest, or one of the Moonthread Fae has tangled every last yard of yarn, Posie is already on her way. She rarely finishes her own knitting before helping someone else, but she never seems to mind.  The others say kindness is woven into her wings.

Day-To Day Bag is made to a minimum of 8" high, 10" wide at the zippered top, with a rectangular bottom of 6" by 4". It will fit two skein projects and works great for socks or small shawl projects.

Equator Bag is our medium sized bag, made to a minimum of 8" high, and 12" wide at the zippered top, with a rectangular bottom of 8" by 4". It will fit three skein projects and works great for shawl, cowl, hats, and mitten projects. This bag features a decorative zipper pull and wrist strap as well as a white embroidered AdoreKnit. The Zipper Pull is removable and could double as a progress keeper in a pinch.

Notions Pouch is made to a minimum of 5" high and 5" wide at the zippered top. The fabrics match those used in the project bags. It is an envelope type pouch. It will comfortably fit darning needle case, measuring tape, stitch marker container and few other essentials.

Fabric placement may vary slightly from bag to bag. If you need to wash your bag, please wash in cold water and air dry.
