Stitches in the Grain Project Bag Commuter or Day-to-Day (warm)

The Stitches in the Grain project bag is perfect for knitters and crocheters who like their projects rooted in comfort and calm. With warm tones, it’s a cozy companion for quiet mornings, creative afternoons, or on-the-go making.

Available Sizes: Commuter, Day-to-Day, or Equator.  Fully lined and lightly interfaced, this bag keeps your yarn, hooks, and needles safely tucked away—while maintaining its lovely shape and structure.  The mid-weight twill fabric exterior is 100% cotton.  

The Commuter Bag is spacious and structured, designed to keep your projects organized wherever you go. It features a navy crackle fabric lining and includes an interior pocket—perfect for stashing your phone, keys, or small notions. You'll also find subtle “AdoreKnit” embroidery inside, along with our favorite sturdy, no-curl straps for easy carrying. 

Both the Day-to-Day Bag and the Equator Bag feature a tonal purple wrist strap and a navy zipper for a clean, subtle finish.  Each bag includes a removable zipper pull featuring three oblong mushrooms—whimsical and handy, as it doubles as a progress keeper in a pinch. The wrist strap adds both charm and function, with black embroidered “AdoreKnit” detailing.  Interiors are fully lined in a peach and magenta swirl fabric for a cheerful pop of color every time you open your bag.

Notions Pouch is made to a minimum of 5” high and 5” wide at the zippered top.  The fabrics match those used in the project bags.  It is an envelope type pouch.  It will comfortably fit darning needle case, measuring tape, stitch marker container and few other essentials.  

Day-To Day Bag is made to a minimum of 8” high, 10” wide at the zippered top, with a rectangular bottom of 6” by 4”. It will fit two skein projects and works great for socks or small shawl projects.

Basket Bag is slightly shorter than our medium sized bag, made to a minimum of 5” high, 8" long by 4" wide. Square bottom and a short strap allow you to carry the bag without losing its shape. The bag will easily fit a two-skein project and works great for a pair of socks, cowl, or hat project.  Drape the bag over either arm for walking and knitting in style.

Equator Bag is our medium sized bag, made to a minimum of 8” high, 12” wide at the zippered top, with a rectangular bottom of 8” by 4”. It will fit three skein projects and works great for shawl, cowl, hats, and mitten projects. This bag features a decorative zipper pull and wrist strap as well as a white embroidered AdoreKnit. The Zipper Pull is removable and could double as a progress keeper in a pinch. 

Big-Foot Bag is made to a minimum of 8” high, 16” wide at the zippered top, with a rectangular bottom of 12” by 4”. Will comfortably fit three skein projects and is ideal for small sweater and larger shawl projects.

Carry All Tote Bag is slightly larger than our medium sized bag, made to a minimum of 8” high, 9" long by 4" wide.  Square bottom and sturdy straps allow you to carry the bag without losing its shape.  The straps and the interior of project bag are a rich solid red fabric.   Exterior of the bag features 6 different size pockets, great for your phone or keys.  It will easily fit a three skein projects and works great for shawl, cowl, hats, and mitten projects.  Or load up several projects and carry them all in this adorable mid-sized tote.

Everest Bag is our largest sized bag, made to a minimum of 13” high, 16” wide at the zippered top, with a rectangular bottom of 12” by 4”. The bag will comfortably fit six or even eight skein projects and is ideal for sweaters, larger shawl projects, and even blankets.

Commuter Tote Bag is our largest sized bag, made to a minimum of 12” high, 16” wide at the top, with a rectangular bottom of 12” by 4”. This bag is an open-mouthed bag, it does not have a zipper.  Sturdy straps allow you to carry the bag without losing its shape.  The bag will comfortably fit six or even eight skein projects and is ideal for sweaters, larger shawl projects, and even blankets.  Or throw all your other project bags in this one. 

Fabric placement will vary from bag to bag. If you need to wash your bag, please wash in cold water and air dry.
