Sing Me a Song of a Lass that is gone Progress and Stitch Markers. Inspired by the "Boat Skye Song". The song is a Jacobite lament describing how Bonnie Prince Charlie, disguised as an Irish woman, was rowed over the Minch to the island of Skye to hide from the British soldiers after the disastrous failed battle at Culloden in 1746.
