It is the Season to Sparkle Project Bag
Every so often a fabric arrives that refuses to fit into any of our traditional sizes, so we let the fabric lead the way. When that happens we adjust the pattern pieces, rethink the proportions, and choose zippers and linings that make the whole bag sing. The result is a bag with its own unique shape and size that does not match any of our regular measurements, created only because this particular fabric inspired it. The Season to Sparkle are two such bags.  

The first is a smaller shorter tote bag is perfect for a sock knitter!  The pink tree bag has short wrist/hand straps in a sparkling blue snowflake which also lines the inside of the bag.  These are our favorite sturdy, no-curl straps that make carrying easy and comfortable. The bag is made to a minimum of 8” high, 10” wide at the top, with a rectangular bottom of 5.5” by 4”. This bag is an open-mouthed bag, it does not have a zipper.  The bag will comfortably fit a one skein project.

The taller tote bag with short, arm carry straps. The sparkling blue snowflake trim around the top, lining, and straps makes it a decorative seasonal tote.  These are our our favorite sturdy, no-curl straps that make carrying easy and comfortable. The bag is made to a minimum of 11” high, 10” wide at the top, with a rectangular bottom of 6” by 4”. This bag is an open-mouthed bag, it does not have a zipper.  The bag will comfortably fit a two or three skein project.

Both bags have snowflake buttons at the bottoms of the straps.

Notions Pouch is made to a minimum of 5” high and 5” wide at the zippered top.  The fabrics match those used in the project bags.  It is an envelope type pouch.  It will comfortably fit darning needle case, measuring tape, stitch marker container and few other essentials.  

Day-To Day Bag is made to a minimum of 8” high, 10” wide at the zippered top, with a rectangular bottom of 6” by 4”. It will fit two skein projects and works great for socks or small shawl projects.

Basket Bag is slightly shorter than our medium sized bag, made to a minimum of 5” high, 8" long by 4" wide. Square bottom and a short strap allow you to carry the bag without losing its shape. The bag will easily fit a two-skein project and works great for a pair of socks, cowl, or hat project.  Drape the bag over either arm for walking and knitting in style.

Equator Bag is our medium sized bag, made to a minimum of 8” high, 12” wide at the zippered top, with a rectangular bottom of 8” by 4”. It will fit three skein projects and works great for shawl, cowl, hats, and mitten projects. This bag features a decorative zipper pull and wrist strap as well as a white embroidered AdoreKnit. The Zipper Pull is removable and could double as a progress keeper in a pinch. 

Big-Foot Bag is made to a minimum of 8” high, 16” wide at the zippered top, with a rectangular bottom of 12” by 4”. Will comfortably fit three skein projects and is ideal for small sweater and larger shawl projects.

Carry All Tote Bag is slightly larger than our medium sized bag, made to a minimum of 8” high, 9" long by 4" wide.  Square bottom and sturdy straps allow you to carry the bag without losing its shape.  The straps and the interior of project bag are a rich solid red fabric.   Exterior of the bag features 6 different size pockets, great for your phone or keys.  It will easily fit a three skein projects and works great for shawl, cowl, hats, and mitten projects.  Or load up several projects and carry them all in this adorable mid-sized tote.

Everest Bag is our largest sized bag, made to a minimum of 13” high, 16” wide at the zippered top, with a rectangular bottom of 12” by 4”. The bag will comfortably fit six or even eight skein projects and is ideal for sweaters, larger shawl projects, and even blankets.

New Voyager Tote Bag is the perfect in-between size—bigger than our Equator bag but not as large as the Commuter or Everest. Made to a minimum of 10” high and 12.5” wide at the top, with a 10” x 4” rectangular bottom, it’s a roomy, open-mouthed bag (no zipper) that keeps its shape beautifully.

Because every Voyager needs flexibility, you get to choose your straps:

• Shoulder straps for easy, hands-free carrying (includes an interior pocket and AdoreKnit embroidery)

• Short wrist/hand straps for a classic, versatile look

Commuter Tote Bag is our largest sized bag, made to a minimum of 12” high, 16” wide at the top, with a rectangular bottom of 12” by 4”. This bag is an open-mouthed bag, it does not have a zipper.  Sturdy straps allow you to carry the bag without losing its shape.  The bag will comfortably fit six or even eight skein projects and is ideal for sweaters, larger shawl projects, and even blankets.  Or throw all your other project bags in this one. 

Fabric placement will vary from bag to bag. If you need to wash your bag, please wash in cold water and air dry.
