Catching Butterflies Progress and Stitch Markers.  Summer is a magical time for watching butterflies. A quick hike in the woods or quiet moments in a garden almost always turn up a few.  And who doesn’t love butterflies? Perhaps because of their beautiful colors and intricate patterns, or the grace of their flight, butterflies tend to get a lot more love than other types of insects.  National Butterfly Day is March 14th.

Knowing a bit more about butterflies makes us love this set even more.  These stitch markers are the prefect gift for a knitter or a crocheter!  Include in a swap package, teacher gift, or a little pick me up for the knitter in your life.

Choose either:
* A Royal Blue-Purple Butterfly Progress Marker/Keeper/Zipper Pull or
* A Net with a Butterfly Progress Marker/Keeper/Zipper Pull or
* A Set of 12 Stitch Markers that include a tiny silver butterfly beginning of the round (BOR) marker or
* Go with either the Royal Butterfly Progress Marker OR the Net with Butterfly Progress Marker AND 14 Stitch Markers (Including a tiny silver butterfly BOR marker), or
* Go with either the Royal Butterfly Progress Marker BOTH the Net with Butterfly Progress Marker AND 14 Stitch Markers (Including a tiny silver butterfly BOR marker).

Set of 14 stitch markers; lovely lavender metal alloy rings carry clear beads in a rainbow of colors.  Several of these colors are rare and make beautiful color combinations.

Fit Needle sizes: 5-8 US (3.75-5mm)

These were part of our 2022 Marker of the Month Club.  You might be wondering how to catch a butterfly without harming it, or without a net. Here's a super easy way: dip a Q-tip or cotton swab in juice or Gatorade.  Hold near butterflies and watch them land on the cotton and drink some of the juice.
We drew color inspiration from Matt Starr’s piece entitled "Butterflies of the World IV".
