2025 Grimblewood Gnome Kits are available in limited quantities and are ready to ship immediately. Kits can also be preordered for shipment by February 21st. 

AdoreKnit is creating limited-edition seasonal kits inspired by Imagined Landscapes' gnome patterns. Each kit will include a project bag made from exclusive Year of Gnomes fabric, coordinating yarn, stitch markers, and a code for a free pattern download from Imagined Landscapes' Ravelry shop. Fibernymph Dye Works will hand-dye the yarn for the kits, using her beautiful self-striping and semi-solid techniques to create a one-of-a-kind mini skein set or single skein that perfectly complements the colors of the bag. Four kits will be released throughout 2025, on a seasonal basis, starting in January. Each kit will be unique, with no repeats, so you won’t want to miss any of them!

For those who prefer a smaller treat, there is also a limited-edition Gnectar Gnome stitch marker set available here, so you can still join in on the fun and celebrate the Year of Gnomes!

We’re excited to present the first of four kits: the 2025 Grimblewood Gnome Kit!

The kit includes an AdoreKnit project bag made with exclusive Year of Gnomes fabric, a coordinating mini-skein set of Fibernymph Dye Works yarn, a set of Gnolan Gnome stitch markers, and a code for a free pattern download from Imagined Landscapes' Ravelry shop. All you need is your favorite needles, and you’ll be ready to start gnome knitting!

The Bag: This exclusive AdoreKnit fabric design features the Gnomes of Grimblewood as they go about their wintry village life. The equator-sized project bag is a zippered design, ensuring your projects and needles stay safe and secure. Made from 100% cotton twill fabric with light yet supportive interfacing, it’s both durable and lightweight.

This medium-sized bag measures approximately 8” high, 12” wide at the zippered top, and has a rectangular bottom of 8” by 4”. It’s perfect for holding three skeins of yarn and spacious enough to fit two gnome projects.

The interior is white with tiny snowflakes, and the bag features a contrasting red wrist strap and a decorative zipper pull. A white zipper with red end tabs completes the exterior. The long tree-in-snow zipper pull is removable and can double as a progress keeper in a pinch. All bags are sewn in our home studio in New Hampshire by Steph and Terry.

Please note, fabric placement may vary slightly from bag to bag. To care for your bag, wash it in cold water and air dry.

The Yarn: MINI SKEIN SETS

Each Winter Grimblewood Gnome Mini Skein Set includes two 25-gram self-striping minis -- The Thing About Gnomes and Gnomescape -- and three 20-gram semi-solid minis -- Spruce, Honey, and Smoke.

All minis are dyed on Fibernymph's Bounce fingering weight base, 80/20 SW Merino/Nylon; 100 yd/25-gm mini, 80 yd/20-gm mini.

Recommended care: This is a machine washable yarn, however we recommend hand washing in cool water and air drying.

The Stitch Markers: Gnolan Gnome Stitch Marker Set

Gnolan and his bunny friend are ready to help you knit up some gnomes! This set includes a Gnolan Gnome Progress Marker and 12 Stitch Markers (including a bunny BOR marker).

The set of 12 stitch markers features artic blue rings adorned with shiny and opaque beads in shades of artic blue, smoke, white, honey, and red.

Fit Needle Sizes: 3-6 US (3.25-4mm)
Materials: Metal alloy rings, enamel charms, metal alloy charms, glass beads

These stitch markers were lovingly crafted in our home studio in New Hampshire. Lightweight, smooth, and completely snag-free, they’ll help your knitting fly along. They glide effortlessly when knitting, and are handmade by a knitter for knitters. These markers are perfect for those who love beautiful stitch markers but prefer minimal dangle and weight on their needles.
