Go Big or Go Gnome!

New! Halloween with my Gnomies Project Bag

* We know it's a bit early but this fabric looks sort of summery to us and only on closer inspection does it reveal itself to be spooky...
* This was the winning bag from our Third "Choose our next bag" poll on instagram. Just squeaked by with 36% of the votes. Yes the Mermaids are next on the sewing schedule.
* These are available in our Equator size, with your choice of either a purple winged heart or a gnome lady with a purple hat on a broom zipper pull.

New Lightweight handmade polymer clay gnomes and ice cream cones! Perfect for some summer knitting!

August is the time to reap what you’ve sown, quite literally, as most summer vegetables are ready to be harvested. Lots of tomatoes are ripening in our garden. It goes without saying that August is a time to celebrate a good harvest and a good summer - and what better way to celebrate than with ice cream?

For most of us, ice cream conjures up memories of summer, slurping melted cones, banana splits, root beer floats, or hot fudge sundaes. There is something miraculous about ice cream. Since it melts at room temperature, its life is fleeting outside the freezer. While we can trace ice cream's origins back to 3000 BC in China, where crushed ice was flavored with fruit juices, it wasn’t until the 1840s when the ice cream churn was invented (by the American Nancy Johnson) and the dessert we know today became widely available. We wanted to honor our favorite ice cream flavor: mint chocolate chip.

There is a great little Ice-Cream shop off of the beach in North Hampton NH called the Beach Plum. That's Steph's favorite place to get Mint Chocolate Chip Ice-Cream. So when we made the cone we immediately thought of the colors of the Beach Plum, hence purple markers with green ice cream.

Irresistible Cute Dragon Collection

I'm totally powerless when it comes to these adorable dragons! We are excited to offer a dragon egg in this collection.

Today just so happens to be Steve's birthday.  Steph is slightly older than Steve so each year when his birthday rolls around it feels like a little present just for Steph, a sigh of releif that she's no longer the older woman, at least until December. 🙄

Have an excellent weekend and happy knitting! 🖤 Steph & Steve
